I have some problems with blackheads before...I'm sure I'm not the only one, right?
First..let's get to know what the hell is Blackheads...
What are blackheads?
Blackheads develops when excess oil is clogging the pores that are close to surface of the skin. If the pore is open and the oil is exposed to air and reacts with Oxygen, what you get is a dark colored blackhead. This clog occurs because the excess oil is unable to flow to the skin's surface due to blockage by dead skin cells.
What causes blackheads?
The following conditions usually lead to blackheads:
* Excess of oil on the pores - Hormones are the leading cause of increased oil production.
* Excess of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, which blocks the openings of the pores.
* Use of skin care and beauty care products on the face that contain too much oil.
You may be familiar with this method of treating colds. However, it is also highly effective in treating blackheads:
1.Boil a pot of water; adding a lemon is an option
2.Throw a towel over your head so it covers the pot. Keeping the steam within, lean over the pot and breathe deeply.
3.Do this for 5 minutes, until your face is quite wet from steam and also perspiration. This opens your pores.
4.At this point, you may choose to run a cotton make up pad over affected areas to dislodge blackheads.
5.Continuing on, add some cooler water to the pot so that the water remains quite hot, but not boiling, so that you may apply it to affected areas. Do so with a wet cotton pad, wringing it out, and pressing blackhead areas with the pad. Ensure the pad remains hot. Also, be careful not to burn yourself!
6.Cleanse after the use of this method.
7. Do the same activities at least twice a week... and You'll see the result.
NO MORE THIS NIGHTMARE!!!
